Rheedia brasiliensis, commonly known as Bacupari, is an evergreen tree native to Brazil. It grows to 10-20 feet tall with a dense, rounded crown. The tree produces small, ovate, orange-yellow fruits with subacid white pulp that have an excellent flavor, eaten fresh or used in jams. It thrives in semi-shade to full sun with regular watering and well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Hardy in USDA zones 9-11.
